The operation and monitoring board is a modular training system from the Pilz Education Systems series - PES. It consists of modern, industrial components and can be used for practical teaching at universities, for example.

The PES systems are used for exercise purposes and can illustrate the function of a plant or machine. They also have various safety and automation functions, which are clearly arranged on boards.

The operation and monitoring board maps the visualisation of a complete plant or machine. So in the classroom it is possible to explain the functions of human machine interfaces and, for example, learn how to read diagnostic data from different controllers, as well as troubleshooting techniques.

All this is found on the board: visualisation terminal PMIvisu operator terminal, incl. visualisation software PASvisu for a comprehensive overview of an entire machine. The operating mode selector switch PITmode enables the selection of the machine control operating mode. The basic functions of Identification and Access Management (IAM) are also available to learners.
