Pilz enjoys record turnover in 2023 – Safety and Security for the transformation of industry - “Pilz resolutely continued its success story in 2023!”

The Pilz Group ended the 2023 financial year with a record turnover of 432.9 million Euro. The automation company from Ostfildern enjoyed worldwide growth and is reinvesting its profits. In particular, growth opportunities exist for Pilz as Safety and Security are a key component for industrial transformation.

Pilz launches its Industrial Security Consulting Service (ISCS) - Armed with Security

With its Industrial Security Consulting Service (ISCS), the automation expert Pilz is helping companies to safeguard their plant and machinery with regard to Security. The aim of the modular service package is to detect security vulnerabilities and find solution approaches – based on current legal requirements and upcoming changes. As a result, companies guarantee the protection of their plant and machinery, and above all their employees.

Pilz continues its 2023 success story.

2023 was a very successful year for our group. We ended the financial year with a record turnover.

Safety and Security in transformation

Pilz is an automation company. Our core competence is safety. Every day, our mission is to make the world more digital, connected, flexible, efficient, safe and secure. We want to contribute towards ensuring that the transformation of industry can succeed. Certain industries are affected more strongly by this transformation than others, because they will play a key role in tackling the tasks ahead. These include hydrogen, E-mobility, the semiconductor industry and also railway technology.

Automation solutions for the hydrogen industry: Clean, safe and reliable

Everyone is talking about hydrogen! The energy carrier plays a crucial role in the energy turnaround and climate neutrality. It is used in industry, for example, when steelmaking, in the glass industry, for mobility as fuel for transport vehicles or for electricity reconversion.

Pilz provides holistic support to the packaging industry!

The requirements of the packaging industry include the necessary flexibility and, above all, high productivity with short downtimes, for maintenance for example. And very high process speeds. That’s exactly why the operator must be protected from the hazards of the machine.

IO-Link Safety: How safe connectivity scores points at field level

Today, when we talk about industrial communication, it should be possible to achieve safe data transfer up to the “last” sensor. This applies in particular to devices at field level. Greater availability and a more flexible automation are the objective.

Industrial Security: From manipulated bit to industrial accident

With the publication of the new EU Machinery Regulation (MR), the forthcoming directive NIS 2 and the planned Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), it is now clear to plant and machinery builders, integrators and operators: Security is a legal requirement!
