At LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics, from 25 – 27 April, the automation company Pilz will be presenting its complete solution for safe automation and operation of automated guided vehicle systems (AGVS). As well as the product solution comprising safety laser scanner and control technology, plus the industrial firewall, it also includes the services package, through to CE marking in accordance with ISO 3691-4. Another highlight in Stuttgart: visitors can find out how an Identification and Access Management system with clearly defined permissions contributes towards greater security in intralogistics.

The range of services offered by the automation company Pilz for the safety validation of plant and machinery is now tailor-made according to need. Machine manufacturers and operators can now choose between three different levels, selecting the scope and depth of validation that matches their exact needs. This guarantees an efficient service that’s tailored to individual requirements – for a standard-compliant design of the plant and machine, plus maximum safety.

The automation expert Pilz offers a new version of its electronic access permission system for flexible, secure management of access to machinery. With the PITreader card unit, operators can now assign permissions on RFID transponders in card or sticker format.

Infinitely adjustable muting arms for safety light curtains PSENopt II from Pilz - Highly flexible muting for greater productivity!

Pilz now offers new types of muting arms for the safety light curtains PSENopt II, meaning for the first time that the muting function is completely flexible. That's because the sensors of the muting arms can now be positioned completely freely and therefore individually via infinite adjustment – for L-, T- and X-muting. This maximum flexibility ensures uninterrupted production processes, as unnecessary downtimes are avoided. That guarantees high productivity in the packaging industry or also logistics, for example.
